Obedience Debut

Well, Kasey got his big start in the... eh... amateur ranks today, with some achievement at a local Fun Match. He took third in Rally and second in Obedience. Ooooh, ribbons! Both were at beginner level (on leash), but hey, that's okay, it's a "tune up."

He was a little nervous, and his attention wandered when he was supposed to be maintaining a good heel, so we lost points there.

But then I think that we got some points back when he impressed the judge with his Elvis impersonation.

Go Kasey! Off to a VERY nice start. You can't really blame him for being nervous at first. Sounds like you make a good team. I look forward to reading about his further adventures in Obedience.

Thanks, Guys.

Westminster! Ha! Actually, if we ever did that, then I'm certain that we'd become exactly like that overambitious yuppie couple with their dog in "Best in Show." You know, the one with the bee toy.

Heh looks like you did well :) And yes, great Elvis face! You've got a lovely looking do there.

Was starting to scroll down your page but saw the warning signs and I'm squeamish so I stopped! Probably wasn't that bad?

Thanks, everyone.

Hilary - go ahead and scroll. It's not so bad, really.
